Life story is not all sweetness, enjoyment, & success; it is drudgery, pain & failure too.  And worry & apprehension about it eat into vitals of man’s life.  With all the opportunities for enjoyment provided with advanced technology, man still lives in anxiety.

The most empirical argument in favor of  prayer is that it relives the mind of tension, which is the natural concomitant of life of hurry & worry.  It neutralizes mental repression & purifies the subconscious.  It releases an extra amount of hope & energy & thus  enables a man to face life squarely.

Prayer frees a man from tension by unburdening his mind, putting faith in higher power to alleviate suffering, or letting him see his problems in larger perspective.  Such benefits are quite evident.  However, the function of prayer is to create….
