Benefits of Meditation

What comes to your mind when you hear the word “meditation?” Saffron clad clothes…something mystical…a Zen Master…or what great gurus do, isn’t it?

In reality, every time you focus on something and anything whole-heartedly and pointedly is meditation. Being conscious about every aspect of one’s life – the mind, body and soul is meditation. One does not need to be a special person to meditate or be equipped with extraordinary powers to reach that state – all you need to begin meditation is to free your mind of clutter!

Benefits of Meditation

  • In fact in this crazy, fast-paced life, we are constantly being bombarded with information and situations that can make you feel out of control. Meditation helps you de-clutter, calm and quiet your mind.
  • It helps you to understand yourself better; and leads to greater introspection.
  • It’s a great health booster – more energy, fewer instances of falling ill, and increased concentration and memory.
  • And to top it all, you can have a more restful sleep and a more energetic start to the next day

About Divine Light

A closer look at any activity will reveal the truth that one's own contribution to it is negligible compared to the things provided by nature and the role of the unseen hand in facilitating it.
